Robot Rail System
By fitting a Robot to our Rail System and installing an additional servo motor (with drive and software from Fanuc) to the supplied gearbox, the Robot’s working area can be increased to perform additional tasks as required. A precision rack is used to minimize backlash and Precision Linear Guide Rails are bolted to the machined Steel Channel Beams either side of the slide.
This rail system can also be adapted for any linear movement application. We can also supply servo motor’s/drives and controllers to suite your specific application.
We can bulid a range of rail units, ranging from the RTU-3-500 (3m long travel, 500kg load on slide), to the RTU-14-2500 (14m long travel, 2500kg load on slide). Since the rail is built in sections, the maximum length is only limited by the length of cable from the controller to the robot.
